Made in Ireland and built for power…. This O-23 offers up a very strong voice from its Claro Walnut and Cedar body with a 16.5″ bout. The Lowden O is very popular with rhythm players in Celtic and other styles where power to cut through is important. This guitar is also wonderful for fingerstyle with great bass response and brilliant highs. It’s in like-new condition to boot.
Big tone is the thing on this one. The O body shape is a Jumbo design and it works beautiful in Walnut/Cedar, a combination Lowden is known for. I really enjoy strumming this guitar and it handles fingerstyle very well also. The bass is full and punchy and the trebles have that patented Lowden shimmer. This one won't break the bank either, a win/win.
