Here is a ‘vintage’ Lowden and a rare Dreadnought Model as well. Crafted from Mahogany and Cedar this D22 Lowden has a bright, yet rich, voice that is well suited for Celtic accompaniament. It’s punchy and articulate. The overall condition is great for the age, just light play wear. A well matured Lowden in the rare Dread body.
The voice of this guitar is perfect for Celtic music, it has the power and projection for Doyle-esque style. But it also has a richness thanks to the Cedar top. Fingerstyle players that like a lot of bass will also be drawn to this one. It's cool to see a 15 year old Lowden still going strong.
