An amazing instrument built by Marc Maingard himself. Excellent, rich tones from the Adirondack Spruce top and wonderfully figured Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. A fingerstylist’s dream, this 000-12 features even action with tonal consistency all the way up the neck. The festive Ndeble Triangle rosette in Red and Green and ornate Bird Of Paradise headstock inlay add an unmistakably South African flavor to this gorgeous instrument.
Marc Maingard is a treasure in the guitar world. Since the 70's he's been building incredible instruments for the likes of Earl Klugh and Steven Stills. His Bevel design is my very favorite, sleek and comfortable they make his guitars feel like a Stratocaster. This one is stunning with it's colorful inlays and the tone is sweet and angelic.
