African Blackwood is very hard to find, even more rare than Brazilian Rosewood. It is coveted for it’s tone which is deep, rich and slightly haunting. On this elegant guitar from Marc Maingard it brings beauty, tone and sustain. Marc also added not one but TWO bevels, one for your arm and one for your ribs making this one very comfortable guitar. That’s a good thing because you won’t want to put this one down!
WOW! I simply love this guitar. The tone is ethereal, haunting, dark and sweet all at once. There are so many lovely touches that make this guitar special, from the dual bevels to the sapwood heel cap, Marc should be proud of this guitar. Someone out there is going have a chance at a musical partnership with a very unique and beautiful instrument.
