Here we have a Beautiful 2007 Maingard OM built from African Blackwood and European Spruce. Marc builds his beautiful guitars in the stunning environs of Scarborough South Africa. From the picturesque surroundings to his quaint little shop, it would be hard to think of a better suited place to build guitars. One thing is for sure, Marcs love for his home and building permeate his instruments, they are full of passion and love. This OM sings sweetly on every string, perfectly suited to fingerstyle pieces. Marc chose turquoise dyed wood for the rosette and purflings, it adds a refreshing touch and mimics the warm and cheerful tones of the guitar.
I love the style of this guitar, it is one of the prettiest guitars in the room. It surely has the tone to keep up with the looks as well, it is warm and sweet. This one will sets its hooks in you in a heartbeat.
