In 1923 Martin made the first 0-21 braced for steel strings, 4 years later they made this incredible little beast of a guitar. Anyone who’s played a prewar Martin small body guitar knows why player’s talk about them with such regard. The sound leaps off of the aged soundboard and the entire guitar seems to want to vibrate off your lap. This guitar has all the mojo and then some. The tone is extraordinary with projection that will blow your hair back and it’s been completely setup by master luthier Bill Tippin so it needs nothing but someone to play it. There are no cracks anywhere on this guitar and it is nearly completely original. Just listen to the audio on this one…
Al and I both love this one... It has that small body charm and tons of power. Perfect for blues, rags, old time and fingerstyle in just about any genre. This is a rare condition guitar structurally perfect and Bill Tippin put his Midas touch on the neck set and setup so it play perfectly. The 0 and 00 sized Martins are the next horizon of collectible prewar guitars and are increasing in value at a rapid pace. So this one should appreciate quickly while you enjoy it. Even as I write this I'm thinking I should keep this one, but alas my job is to offer them to you... 
This is one of the nicest vintage Martins we've seen. The sound is big and projects like you might expect. It's amazing that this guitar has never had a crack repaired and the wood is all original. What a find. | Scale Length | 24.75 in |
