I love Koa when it's paired with a softer top and here with Engelmann it really works well. The voice is very rich and full for such a small box and it's very articulate. The adornments are tasty and elegant and the back and sides are scrumptious, just have a look at the photos. This limited edition has long been sold out, so we are glad to have one for you. 
This model is designed after the classic pre-war 00 Martins of the late 1920's. The neck and body is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. The "alternate torch" inlay originally appeared on a 1902 Martin and was recently rediscovered. I love the way these small guitars play and the focus that they have in the "mids". The koa back and sides tend to increase that focus making this an excellent recording guitar.
