Here we have a Brazilian Rosewood Martin 000-28 Custom with a short scale. Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Red Spruce set the stage for a killer pre-war style tone that is big and open. This guitar reminds us also of the Clapton 000-28ECB models. It is simply appointed, in 28 Style, with a gorgeous patina to the top. It’s outfitted with a V neck and a nicely compensated saddle for great intonation.
This guitar has a great feel, the vintage 'V' neck shape, short scale and string spacings feel great for fingerstyle. The tone leaps out of the Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack body and I really love the patina the top has. I wish my IRA money was in Brazilian Martins like this, they are beating the heck out of those Wall Street boys these days...
