Forget that Martin no longer offers Brazilian Rosewood, forget Jim Croce’s signature, Forget the cool Dime Inlay, this guitar just sounds awesome! It’s one of the best sounding rosewood Dreads we’ve ever heard regardless of model. It’s extremely lively with great projection and the sound it throws across the room is complex and complete. Chimey highs and deep, rich bass notes abound. By the way we love Jim Croce and this guitar is a great tribute!
I grew up listening to Jim Croce and this guitar in its 21 styling reminds me of him ... hard-working and beautiful sounding. Just close your ears and listen to the sound clip, this is extraordinary. The fact that it's a collectible, limited edition Martin in Brazilian Rosewood is icing on the cake. 
This is an excellent guitar, regardless of of its collectibility. It is loud and clear and just feels great. The soundboard is lightly braced with Martin's forward shifted scalloped "X" pattern for optimum tonal balance and response. It has 60's style appointments including the more rounded peghead and replica Grover tuners. If you are looking for a killer Dreadnought, this could be the one for you.
