We are presenting this Martin D-45 Vintage Series on behalf of Flatpicking wizard Steve Kaufman. Not only does it’s provenance make it unique but the fingerboard was originally made for the 1996 200th anniversary model D-45, built to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth date of C.F. Martin Sr. in 1796. It was custom ordered on this guitar and makes this D45-V a one-of-a-kind Martin. This very guitar has been used on numerous recordings and DVDs by Steve Kaufman. Clearly when a player the caliber of Steve Kaufman chooses a Dread, he picks the best. This is one of the best sounding modern Martins you'll find. The bass is huge and the trebles just as strong. Broken in at the hands of a master, it does not get any better than this!
