We just love the 45 style trim that adorns this beautiful Martin OM. The 45 style incorporates abalone purfling on the top, back, and sides and it just sparkles. The 1933 Marquis modeled after, you guessed it, the 1993 OM by Martin. Scalloped Adirondack braces, linen side strips and the extensive abalone trim give this guitar the vintage tone and the elegance of yesteryear. The Adirondack top on this particular guitar is superb with very even grain spacing and lots of silking. The voice is wide awake and proud. The bass is huge for an OM and the treble full and sparkling. This one is equal adept at strumming or fingerstyle and is in mint condition. Player or collector, you’ll love this beautiful Martin.
This one has that special something tonally speaking. It stands out as a Martin with extra energy, more bass than anticipated and a big, strong trebles that are powerful and sparkling. I'm a big fan of the 45 style trim package, the abalone on the sides and back really make this an eye-catcher. The top is really wonderful Adirondack, very even grain and lots of medullary rays/silking. No wonder it sound so darn good....
