Here we have a 1991 Martin Shendoah D-6732 model guitar. This one features a Quilted Ash body(laminated) with a solid Spruce top. In 1991 these were made in Japan and assembled and painted in Nazareth, PA by Martin. This one is gorgeous and a has truly big sound that is amazing given the price. This is a great guitar for someone after that Martin tone at a value price and the Quilted Ash is lovely.
To our ears this is a good Martin, big strong voice that's clear and punchy. The Quilted Ash is stunning and since this is an early one from 1991 it was assembled at Martin. Later years were made fully in Japan. Great guitar for the price!
