This is one of those guitars I will surely regret selling, but like any business we have to pay the bills. This one has all of the details that I love in a Matsuda from the carved cutaway and bridge to the inlaid top purfling, it's striking from every angle. Flip it over and you'll notice the clever partial purflings that really stand out against the premium Brazilian Rosewood. The voice is huge and beautiful, you can hear the lineage to Ervin Somogyi, but also you sense Michi's tone, articulate, fat and sumptuous.
