Everything about this guitar works together in a smooth, harmonious flow; from looks to tone, this Oxwood is a well-oiled machine. The voice has exactly what you’d expect from a 00–a warm and buttery midrange, articulate bass, easy playability–but the treble strings set it apart from the 00 crowd. The B and E strings are crisp but not tinny, fat but not floppy, bubbling with overtones and sustain. Lesser 00s run the risk of sounding plunky and small, but this Oxwood 00 has the full-figured presense of a much larger guitar. Interested? This is one of the more filled out 00s I've played in some time. The playability and tone are both glass smooth. And this rosette is even sweeter: I love how Brad toys with texture by creating channels in the Wenge ring to show the Bloodwood beneath.
