This is the first of 10 Petros Dream Series guitars we are offering. We are huge fans of Bruce Petros and son Matt’s sound and craftsmanship and asked them to be a part of the fine Dream Series we are now offering. We selected premium, old-growth Brazilian Rosewood and all wooden appointments to create a Petros like no other. This guitar is simply stunning in an understated and elegant manner and has a very open, modern fingerstyle voice and plays with ease.
We have selected a handful of our builders to create limited edition guitars for us known as the Dream Series. We are delighted that Bruce and Matt Petros are building a set of 10 very special instruments with unique specifications. The goal of this serious was first and foremost incredible tone and secondarily to allow beautiful woods to blend into a natural elegance. I'm happy to say Bruce & Matt exceeded our expectations. The tone from old growth Brazilian Rosewood and classic German Spruce is timeless. It is the refined and versatile sound of the ages and the trademark Petros shimmer and overtones are ever present. We chose stunning Amboyna Burl wood for the rosette, top trim and tuner buttons and paired it with English Applewood for a sophisticated beauty.
