Here we have one of our soldout Dream Series from Jason Simpson. We made just 5 of these amazing guitars and they are among the most beautiful instruments we’ve had the pleasure to offer our clients. What we are most proud of here is the powerful and moving voice that Jason achieves by pairing the African Mahogany (Sapele) with Carpathian Spruce on the GA sized body. The result is extreme versatility in a guitar that can easily move between style and genres. You can achieve big strummed sounds and the most delicate fingerpicked passages. Jason’s armrest bevel is extremely original and beautiful. On close inspection you’ll find laminated braces, bound soundhole and many other elegant touches that other builders don’t typically offer. The reason we do our Dream Series guitars is to inspire builders to do their best work and offer something unique to you our customers. Jason really threw himself into this project and added details beyond our imagination. For some of them you have to look inside where he's laminated braces with Bloodwood carrying the look inside the body. The Sapele used is the best we could find and it's perfectly complimented by Carpathian Spruce which we categorize as a cross between Adirondack and European. It has power and clarity to spare. We are very, very proud of our Dream Series by Jason Simpson.
