This is our first guitar from Maker Steven Kinnaird of Texas and what a beauty. High Curl Western Big Leaf maple with a nearly black sunburst makes for dramatic hide and seek with the figure of the Maple. The sides and neck are tone to match as well. The top is Engelmann which adds a decided warmth to the responsiveness of the Maple. The voice is very strong, very rich and beautiful. From top to bottom, literally, the adornments are stunning. Starting with the unique shape of the slotted headstock which is guilded in Gold and White Pearl, also bound and bordered. Then comes a solid Pearl nut that Steven Kinnaird said he’s always wanted to try. Then on to the beautifully bound and bordered fingerboard that is dressed again in a lovely mix of Gold and White Pearl. Lastly, the rosette is captivating with shell inset into deep black wood. White perflings on all sides add lovely contrast to the dark burst and bring the canvas to life. But when you are not staring at it you will love playing this guitar. It’s alive, beautiful, easy to hold and to play. It’s at once a gentleman’s guitar and a man’s guitar…
We were honored when Steven Kinnaird sent us this guitar. He felt it was right for our shop and we could not agree more. It's quality from top to bottom with tone to spare. The picture give the best idea of it's beauty and elegance, but let me just add it's magical to behold up close. The tone is really wonderful, bigger than it should be and very lively and beautiful. This is a superb guitar to keep close and play often. 
This little guitar has the most amazing sunburst finish on the beautiful curly maple and spruce body. Even the curly maple neck has the sunburst on it.
