Here is a super clean Tippin DST, 12 Fret Slope Shoulder Dreadnought. This beast is crafted from Mahogany and Adirondack for a vintage tone. It features a 1 3/4″ neck so it suits fingerstyle as well as being a flatpicking cannon. This is a very versatile guitar, very similar to the one Martin Simpson had built for himself some years ago. The voice is clear and bold with strong trebles. This is a great guitar for single line work, strumming and a great fingerstyle guitar for the player wanted a full Dreadnought voice.
This is a classic Tippin Dread. I love Bill's DST 12 Fret design, it makes for a big strong guitar that can really cover any territory. Fingers, flatpick, bluegrass to blues, it does it all. 
I'm a fan of Bill Tippin's work, so I may be a bit biased. This is a wonderful guitar for all purposes. The bass is rich and full, but not muddy and the trebles are sweet and powerful. The larger body size gives it a bit more volume and bass response, but the bass is nicely controlled. This one is a real winner. | Scale Length | 25.4 in |
