Rich, full and deeply resonant with the kind of voice fingerstyle players dream of. The strong and dense treble notes swell as they blossom into full voice and the bass is resounding and proud. Even a light touch is rewarded with big tone and it has surprising headroom as well. The Wedge Body and contoured cutaway make it extremely easy to hold and play. Simply awesome! I first heard of Dennis Scannell and his True North guitars from Martin Simpson years ago and every one I've played has left me speechless. This guitar is as complete and wonderful as they come! 
One of the better guitars to come through recently, this one is balanced and easy to play with everything you'd want in a fingerstyle guitar. It has nice clarity in the mids without getting "honky" and very even response across all registers. Nearly perfect. | Scale Length | 25.79 in |
