This guitar plays like butter and sounds like a sweet dream. The walnut neck is a wonderful touch—both beautiful and comfortable in hand—and I really love the look of the wood pickguard. Altogether, this Wilborn is just unique through and through, a perfect reflection of Ben’s artistry and thoughtful design. 
Dang. You know I'm a sucker for Ben's work, but even so, this 2012 build knocks me out. Round, round, round is the name of the game: round warmth, round definition, smooth countour in the neck carve. We talk a lot about the alchemy of an opened up guitar--this Wilborn is a prime time example, and its mature flavors are oh so easy to tap into. 1 in stock
