This is a custom Wingert F model crafted from African Blackwood and German Spruce. Kathy’s F is her larger Grand Auditorium body and it fills the room with a big sound that is warm, dark and mysterious thanks to the African Blackwood. The wonderfully silky German tops insures great clarity and power. The cutaway and DUAL BEVELS for both the arm and chest make this a complete and wonderful Wingert guitar. Oh, and there is a Calton Flight case as well…
I own a Wingert F model and adore it's big, warm sound. This one, in African Blackwood, has the sweetest midrange and trebles with real substance. This is an amazing fingerstyle guitar for the player wanting a big, beautiful voice and Kathy Wingert's sublime craftsmenship.
