This is our first guitar from Jeffrey Yong, and it’s a beauty. Jeffrey builds guitars in Malaysia using exotic woods such as the Monkey Pod used for the body on this JJ model. This wood is not only stunning, with its natural golden color and deep figure, but it has a great energetic voice. It has the pump and roar of Mahogany and produces full, round notes. This Yong guitar also features his sculpted Cutaway, which allows access but doesn’t cut away much of the body. There is also an armrest bevel and a soundport to complete this gorgeous and fully loaded guitar from Jeffrey Yong.
This guitar is a real eye-catcher, the black lacquer shines light night and the Monkey Pod has it's golden glow. But it's the voice that impresses me.
