The Don re-issue is a very special National resonator. The tone of the authentic German Silver body has the mellow edge like the 1920s Nationals I've played. It's more round and open sounding. There is still plenty of bite to be conjured up upon request. Perfect for fingerstyle and slide, this is one of the very best National models in my opinion.
