This is a great example of the famous Santa Cruz H in a 12-fret, short scale, slothead custom sunburst design. The shorter scale length makes it a joy to play and it looks as cool as any vintage guitar you’ll find. The tone from the Rosewood/Spruce body is killer, it’s strong and clear, very fundamental with fewer overtones, so it’s great for Blues and Rags, music that requires clarity between the strings. This one being 10 years old makes it far better than new, as it’s open and alive, and it’s been kept in perfect condition.
This is a keeper, just a great lively 00 size guitar from Santa Cruz. It has been well played but cared for and you can't beat years of play to make a guitar really sing. This one is gorgeous with its vintage burst, slothead and full bindings but it's the tone that makes this one special.
