This one-of-a-kind guitar was commissioned by a collector fond of early Santa Cruz instruments. It features custom inlays by the now famous Larry Robinson, done completely by hand. The detail on the inlaid Butterflies is nothing short of amazing. Also featured is some of the nicest Brazilian you’ll find on any SC and Adirondack to top it off. The tone is strong, sweet reminiscent of prewar Martin small bodies. Warm bass and treble strings that are pure and fat.

The woods are top notch throughout and Larry Robinson hand inlaid some of the most beautiful work you can find on the fingerboard. You might be tempted to hang this on the wall and stare at it, but trust me you'll want to play it. The voice is sweet and as pleasing as many old Martins I've held. 
This guitar sounds like an old Martin 00. The cutaway makes for easy access to the higher frets. The combination of Brazilian Rosewood with Adirondack Red Spruce defined the sound of the late twenties and thirties Martins. The famous inlay master Larry Robinson (he wrote the book on pearl inlay, literally) added some beautiful butterflies and flowers to this fingerboard that are absolutely stunning. | Scale Length | 25.4 in |
