This guitar was built for Schoenberg by the Martin Guitar Company under the supervision of Dana Bourgeois. Dana selected the woods, voiced the top and supervised construction. The goal of the Schoenberg Soloist was to recreate the prewar Martin OM in a fingerstyle configuration and to do so with premium woods. These guitars are coveted by many fingerstyle players for their big, lively sound and comfort. This particular guitar is a thrill to play, it's like an ivory handled colt and will satisfy the gunslinger in you. The action is quick and articulate and the sound jumps out of the guitar.
