2006 Gerald Sheppard Ave Maria GA. Beautiful Macassar Ebony is topped here with European Spruce resulting in a guitar with power and articulation in spades. The back is gorgeous with lovely character and the top is tight grained. From the rose inlay on the headstock to the body trim the craftsmenship is wonderful as we’ve come to expect from Gerald Sheppard. As a bonus this one plays like a dream and comes with a B-Band pickup.
What a gorgeous set of Ebony, I love the color and figure in this wood. Tonally Ebony gives you good punch and power but also wonderful sustain and overtones. This guitar has a colorful voice and great dynamic range. Gerald's craftsmenship is wonderful.
