Very Good. Appears to be all original but for the saddle and nut. Neck set done by Custom Fretted Instruments. There are several repaired cracks that are cleated and sound. A few back braces have been reglued. Some fingerboard wear was filled. All expected for a 1932 Gibson. The setup is great with plenty of saddle. The original chipboard case is still with it. We have Calton's in stock as well.

Description

Attention Blues and Rag players! This one is for you. There is just nothing quite like the sound and feel of a 30s Gibson for playing Blues and Rags. This one appears to be all original and has that 'real deal' throaty Gibson growl. It has the expected wear that gives it that vintage mojo and few repairs that were all done well. If you just have to have the real thing, you owe it to yourself to read on and listen to the clips for this black beauty.

There is a certain feeling you get when you hold an instrument like this. You can feel the history within it and for me it makes me play differently. I want to attack this guitar and play it honestly and with passion. The voice is perfect for Blues and Rags and they never sounded more at home.

This is an early L-00 as 1932 was the first year that Gibson offered the L-00 in it's catalog but they made them since 1929. It's a great sounding guitar and perfect for fingerstyle blues with a throaty voice.
