Introduced in 1984, the Earl Scruggs Standard replicates Earl’s personal Granada model. Although Earl’s instrument originally had gold-plated hardware, the plating has long ago worn off, so the Standard features nickel-plated hardware to look just like Earl’s. This one is like new, lovingly cared for by it’s original owner. It even come with the resonator pad that’s been protecting it.
There is nothing quite like a Gibson Banjo and the Earl Scruggs model is terrific. Loud, clear as a bell and easy to play. This one is setup with a 5th string capo and has been kept in mint condition. 
I'm not a banjo player, but I really enjoyed coming up with the audio sample on this one. Every note rings true and clear and it feels really good to play. | Scale Length | 26.4 in |
