Randy Lucas is well known as one of the go to builders that can make a Dreadnought that rivals the best prewar guitars. Flatpicker extraordinaire Kenny Smith teamed up with Randy to create a limited Signature Series and this guitar is the result of that talented collaboration. Only 21 of these were made. Mahogany and Adirondack braced to perfection, this is a tonal monster and one serious guitar. Built in 2002, the Adirondack top is now played in, alive and energetic. The 1 3/4" nut, and soft 'V' profile neck, will appeal to modern players. Don't miss the chance at one of the finest Mahogany Dreads you'll find.
Adirondack lovers, this is YOUR TOP. Just look at the perfect grain with no runout at the edges. This is very well quartered indeed and as a result you get incredible tone. The top is also alive now and giving it's all. Randy is one of our favorite makers for a truly vintage tone and feel and this guitar has it in spades.
