2016 Tom Anderson Drop Top Classic, Alder/Quilted Maple
From Dream Guitars-owner Paul Heumiller’s personal collection, we’ve got a dynamite Tom Anderson electric in Alder & Quilted Maple. This Drop Top Classic comes to us from 2016 and is in gorgeous shape, with Anderson’s “chocolate Maple” neck, TF1-SF1-TF3 pickups, split shaft tuners, and ohsc straight from Tom. 25.5” scale makes for a crisp and quick attack, and Tom’s neck carve and setup play like butter.

We’ve been hoping to work with Robert for several years now and it finally came together. He’s now making a limited edition Dream Series for us and this guitar is the very first. 20 years of building lightweight acoustic guitars has taught me how the design, materials and construction techniques affect the voice of the instrument. I am committed to hand crafting each instrument. I have been making violins and bows since 2012 and am now offering them for sale.
I follow the traditions of the old masters, using carefully selected and aged woods, hide glue and dovetail neck joints. For the best possible tone, I then french polish each instrument.
