We’re flabbergasted by the velvetness of the trebles; there’s an alluring blooming quality, with cool overtones, that’s rarely seen. That top end mixes up flawlessly with a warm, articulate midrange—and the bass response fill out the voice with an easy warmth and roundness that hangs in the air. Lebisch’s double top construction adds power for the concert hall, but not at the cost of elegance and tonal range which many double top designs suffer from. On the tonewood front, Lebisch is working with classics, a combination of Indian Rosewood body with a doubled Italian Spruce top, Spanish Cedar neck, and a unique Ebony rosette inlaid with brass that further sets this guitar apart. The build weight is an incredible 2lbs 15oz! And gold Scheller tuners to round out the image, plus a gloss-finished 12-hole bridge.
