2007 Cervantes Hauser Indian/Spruce
Alejandro Cervantes has a wonderful reputation for making world-class guitars that rival those at twice the price. Alejandro is a concert level player and it informs his building and allows him to build expressive instruments with serious tone. This Hauser model is a great example, big powerful bass notes that perfectly compliment the energetic trebles that sing musically. The G string is beautiful and clear. This guitar also has a side soundport so the player hears more of the gorgeous voice as well as the audience. Splendid.

Maingard Classical Concert Brazilian/Red Cedar
We custom ordered this Maingard Nylon String after selling one like it a while back. We were so impressed with the voice and the fresh modern style. This is a traditional fan braced instrument but Marc Maingard adds in his artistic flair on the headstock and by added DUAL BEVELS for the ultimate comfort while playing. The Brazilian Rosewood body is topped with superb Red Cedar that Marc got from famed classical maker Jose Oribe. It makes for a voice that is very musical and lyrical. The melody sings and the bass is both powerful and warm. This is a serious concert guitar but will also please the crossover player as the nut is slightly narrower at 50mm. No wonder players like Earl Klugh play Maingard guitars, see photo below.

1992 Lowden D-22 Mahogany/Cedar
Here is a ‘vintage’ Lowden and a rare Dreadnought Model as well. Crafted from Mahogany and Cedar this D22 Lowden has a bright, yet rich, voice that is well suited for Celtic accompaniament. It’s punchy and articulate. The overall condition is great for the age, just light play wear. A well matured Lowden in the rare Dread body.

2006 Lowden 0-35x Walnut/Alpine Spruce
Here we have a recent O-35 from George Lowden’s new shop in Ireland. This beauty is virtually unplayed and ready to make music. The larger O body is perfect for everything from fingerstyle to power strumming and Celtic to Blues. This is a versatile guitar. The body is crafted from gorgeous figured Walnut and the top is Master Grade Alpine Spruce. The tone is crisp, woody and bold.

2004 Galloup Eclipse Brazilian/Sitka Master Grade Woods
Here we have a gorgeous 12 Fret Eclipse from luthier Bryan Galloup. The Eclipse is a wonderful small body design that offers up a much bigger voice than it’s stature let’s on. If you close your eyes you’ll swear you are playing an OM. Needless to say this is a very comfortable guitar to hold and play. Bryan uses the Buzz Feiten tuning system for impeccable intonation as well. The Brazilian Rosewood here is Bryan’s Reserve Stock and the top is of course Master Grade. The armrest bevel completes this petite, yet powerful, guitar.

This is the fifth of our wonderful Dream Series from Bruce & Matt Petros. This Grand Concert has a very old and straight grained set of Brazilian Rosewood the likes of which is very hard to come by today. It is clearly evident in the voice that is massive, responsive, warm and rich. The Italian Spruce top also insure the voice is full of that wonderful Petros shimmer and overtones. It’s extremely complete sounding and leaves the player’s ears totally satisfied. This is one of the very best Petros guitars I’ve heard and it’s easy to see why Petros guitars are winning prominent awards.

2007 Martin 000-28EC Eric Clapton Signature Indian/Sitka
The Martin 000 needs little introduction as it’s been one of the most popular guitars of all time. The Eric Clapton Signature Model 000-28EC has made quite a name for itself as well and this one is a wonderful example. While just a year old and in Like New condition, the voice is already mature and vibrant. The wide grain Sitka Spruce top put outs abundant bass and trebles that zing across the room. This guitar of course loves to play blues and rags, but it’s one of the most versatile designs and can easily handle Celtic, Traditional, Old Time or anything else you wish to throw at it.

AAA Brazilian Rosewood and Master Grade Adirondack is a classic combination and it is the heart of this great Collings D2H. New National Style 1 Don Nickel Silver Only 100 Made
New for 2008, the Style 1 Don features many of the specifications of its 1934 counterpart. This the first National which uses authentic Nickel Silver (German Silver) as the material for the body. The double engraving pattern, ribbed sieve-hole coverplate, and the decorative “Don” engraved handstrap reproduce the look of the originals. This limited edition instrument is accompanied by an official letter of authenticity certifying it as one of one hundred instruments that will be built. This beauty was custom ordered for a lucky customer’s 50th Birthday.

2006 Collings OM 1A SB Mahogany/Adirondack
Here is the highly regarded Collings OM1A in sunburst. This one is a lot like Pete Huttlinger’s OM and features Mahogany and Adirondack Red Spruce for power and clarity. Larrivee 12-String 45 Indian/Sitka
Here we have a wonderful vintage Larrivee 12 String guitar is from the Victoria, B.C. days of Larrivee. The workmanship is excellent and the inlay is exquisite. The body features premium Indian Rosewood and Master Grade Sitka Spruce with tons of silk. Larrivee harvests their own Sitka from their region and it is wonderful wood. This is a showpiece Larrivee guitar with custom inlays on the headstock, fingerboard and bridge as well as a top border of Abalone. The smaller body and premium top give this 12 string a warmer tone that is sweet and balanced and it plays with ease. A great 12 String guitar from Larrivee.
