2018 Bagnasco & Casati D-28, Brazilian Rosewood/Moonspruce
2018 D-28 from the workshop of Bagnasco & Casati, built with master-grade Moonspruce (European Red Spruce) and premium Brazilian Rosewood. It really doesn’t get much better than this. Legitimately old-school construction executed by modern masters: hide glue throughout, ‘thin skin’ nitrocellulose lacquer, and a steel T-bar neck insert.
With a 1 3/4″ nut and 2 3/8″ saddle spacing, this is a dreadnought that can handle absolutely anything. Fingerstyle, flatpicking—it doesn’t just cope, it excels. This is the kind of guitar that elevates the player; the more you ask of it, the more it delivers. It’s been well played, and that experience is clearly reflected in the voice. Have a look and a listen for yourself.

2018 Beauregard OMC, Brazilian Rosewood/Redwood
Wow wow wow—most of us here at the shop are huge fans of guitarist Antoine Dufour. His axes of choice are those crafted by master builder Mario Beauregard, and when you hear a player like Antoine, it makes perfect sense that he’d want the most sonorous, versatile, and powerful instrument under his hands.
This 2018 OMC shows us exactly why Antoine chooses Mario’s work. Short scale at 25″, twelve frets to the body, insanely beautiful Redwood on top, and the king of tonewoods—Brazilian Rosewood—for the back and sides. The nut and saddle widths are both a bit wider, making this a fingerstyle dream: 1 13/16″ at the nut and 2 3/8″ at the saddle.
Redwood is famously known for ‘waking up’ after a few minutes of play, and while this guitar rips right out of the gate, give it a few minutes and it really blossoms. Expansive, sonorous, clear—this guitar has a special radiance that’s rarely captured as perfectly as it is here.

1999 Blanchard Classical, Indian Rosewood/Engelmann Spruce
Here we have another example of Mark Blanchard’s work from the ’90s — this time, a 1999 classical in Indian Rosewood and Engelmann Spruce. A slimmer neck profile makes this a great “crossover-ish” instrument for steel-string players.
1999 was still fairly early in Mark’s career, but we’re already seeing the beginnings of design elements that remain present in his builds to this day. For instance, the rosette: it features Honduran Rosewood surrounding a band of abalone. Honduran Rosewood appointments appear throughout this piece.

Brand New Blind Guitars B-24, African Blackwood/Torrefied Adirondack Spruce
We’re excited to welcome our first instrument from Blind Guitars of France: the B-24, a refined mid-sized steel-string built with care and an eye for both sonic depth and aesthetic detail.
The top is torrefied Adirondack spruce, providing both headroom and a quick response, with the added warmth and openness that comes from torrefaction. Paired with African Blackwood for the back and sides, the tonal palette leans rich and dark, with excellent sustain and complex overtones—ideal for fingerstyle and light strumming alike. The sides are double laminated with ovangkol, contributing strength and a more rigid box for enhanced projection.
The neck is torrefied flamed maple, offering a smooth playing feel and additional stability. Rocklite bindings and brass body purfling add a subtle, refined contrast to the high gloss polyurethane finish, while the satin neck keeps the playing experience fast and comfortable. The fingerboard and bridge are ebony, with a 1 3/4″ bone nut and 2 1/4″ string spacing at the bridge.
Brass dots and a brass logo complement the aesthetic while matching the bell brass frets—a subtle but classy touch. It ships in a Crossrock carbon fiber case.
A strong debut at Dream from Blind Guitars, and one we’re glad to finally feature.
