2003 Ribbecke Thinline, Mahogany/Maple
We just took on a good looker today, friends. This Thinline from Tom Ribbecke hails from 2003, features a semi-hollow Mahogany body and Figured Maple top, Mahogany neck plus wide nut, and a Humbucker-Single-Coil-Humbucker pickup arrangement. Weighing in about eight pounds, this Ribbecke has some heft to it, and some sweet sustain as a result. If you’re looking for a wider-spec’d fingerboard, look no further! Comes in a Road Runner gig bag.

2006 Ruokangas Mojo Grande, Spanish Cedar/Arctic Birch
A first for us here at Dream Guitars: a 2006 Ruokangas Mojo Grande. All the way from Finland, this Thinline Tele-style guitar is crafted from some rather unique tonewoods. The body is made of Spanish cedar, with a figured Arctic birch top. It features a maple neck and birch fingerboard, both of which, along with the top, have been thermally treated—literally baking in that vintage tone.

2005 Artinger Neo Classical II Mahogany/European
An absolutely stunning, rare guitar from Matt Artinger. This is a Custom Neo Classical II and has many wonderful upgrades. The mahogany back is carved with Matt’s bat wing carve. There are 3 bevels, one for each point of contact with your body. The handmade ebony tailpiece, bridge and pickguard are nothing short of exquisite. The fretboard plays beyond a dream; effortless. The Mahogany neck features dual carbon fiber reinforcement and Spruce to is flawless.Through an amp, the tone of this guitar could be described as gutsy and round thanks to the Ebony covered Duncan Jazz humbucker. Excellent for jazz playing styles and truly a treat to listen to. Overall, one of the more amazing electrics we’ve had here at Dream Guitars!!!

2017 Beardsell 7G-3PU
More fun than we can shake a pick at! This killer 2017 hollowbody 7G-3PU from Al Beardsell is a livewire originally owned by Paul Heumiller himself, who snagged it after seeing it at a show with Al. Mahogany body with a Maple top that boasts striping figure and a cool, mineralized-esque color, and Al whipped up some killer Rickenbacker-style toaster pickups and a trem bridge to round it all out. Gotoh tuners, Cocobolo Rosewood fingerboard, and the volume knob has a blower switch to instantly kick on all pickups, regardless of what position the selector is in—great for when you need a big, juicy blast. Al’s neck carve shaves a bit extra off the bass side to better mate your left hand to the neck, and the result is an effortless playing experience.

2008 Beauregard MB, Flamed Maple
Mario Beauregard’s MB model semi-hollow guitar set the guitar world on fire a few years back. Everyone who lays eyes on one just falls in love. But when you play one you really understand. What a feel! The neck shape seems just perfect and the setup is immaculate. Mario’s build quality is second to none and the MB design incorporates rounded sides that not only look amazing but make this guitar a joy to hold. The P90 pickups scream but also know how to behave, so from blues to rock to jazz you can do it all in style on this Beauregard MB from 2008.

2008 Beauregard MB Semi-Hollow Maple/Spruce
At Dream Guitars, we often have players visit of such calibre that we’re struck dumb when they take a guitar down to play. Not nearly as often are we reduced to silence simply at the sight of a guitar–but this 2008 Beauregard MB is just such an instrument. Whoa! Beauregard has outfitted this beauty with two powerhouse P90 pickups which can scream for Blues while at the same time remaining fat and warm for Jazz. Versatile, in a word. This is as dynamic as they come, with a glossy finish that is feather-smooth to the touch. With arcing curves like a drop of water sliding along the face of a wineglass, this Beauregard MB in Maple and Spruce might be the most beautiful Semi-Hollow or Archtop guitar we’ve seen. Its previous owner has been incredibly careful, too: this is a gem with no discernible marks to mar the surface of the Spruce or the Ebony bridge and tailpiece.

2016 Collings Statesman LC, All-Maple
Mojo for days. This 2016 Collings Statesman LC is like new, gorgeously appointed with a tobacco burst and Laminate Maple body, and outfitted with TV Jones pups and a Bigsby tailpiece. This Statesman weighs in at a slim six pounds and is very easy on the arms and back in both seated and standing positions. Of course, Collings’ flawless fit and finish throughout.

2013 Collings I-35 Deluxe, Honduran Mahogany/Quilted Maple
For added dynamic range, depth, and richness, the Collings team offers this I-35 Deluxe with premium solid wood construction throughout, Lollar Imperial pickups, and on this 2013 build they further upgraded it with a Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard and headplate veneer with parallelogram MOP position markers. Ivoroid bindings throughout, as well as at the truss rod cover. Note the “top hat” knobs and pickup rings are made in-house by Collings to further dress things up. Honduran Mahogany body with Quilted Maple top.

2016 Fender Thinline Telecaster Custom Shop, Tasmanian Blackwood/Koa
At Fender’s Custom Shop, the Artisan Series are each powerhouses. This 2016 Limited Edition Caballo Ligero Tele is a gem, dressed up with Tasmanian Blackwood body and Flame Koa top, Birdseye Maple neck (in their chunky “1963 C” profile), and amplified with a TV Jones classic neck pickup. 1966 Gibson ES-335, All-Maple
What an epic and mighty axe we have here. All the way from 1966, this Gibson ES-335 is all original, in amazing condition for its age, and has had only one owner. It’s been well played and well loved—you can feel it as soon as you pick it up. And speaking of pickups, the Pat. No. humbuckers in this guitar are some of the best we’ve come across here at the shop. So touch-sensitive, this one has all the mojo, all the vibes, and is ready to carry on in someone new’s arsenal. 2013 Gibson Nashville ’63 ES-335 Block Reissue
We love the amazing array of reissues that Gibson has offered over the years, and we especially love those that come out of their Nashville Custom Shop. Enter this well-oiled machine, a Nashville ’63 ES-335 Block Reissue from 2013 with hardly a mark on it. Laminated Maple body with solid Maple center block and one-piece Mahogany neck; custom with a variation of the Burstbucker similar to the Live Bucker of the LPRO and LPR9 , but with lower output at the neck and more in the bridge with differential winding; aluminum stopbar tailpiece; Pearloid block inlays. The neck is the slim-n-slick profile of the early ‘60s that feels effortless in hand, and the setup on this one fits the sweet spot for both light and more aggressive attacks. The 335 semi-hollow design is a classic that is equally at home in so many different styles, it’s no wonder these guitars continue to be so popular. Additionally, this beauty comes out of the Nashville shop, where Gibson’s tight build quality is held to even higher standards—the Nashvilles are consistently top notch, and this 2013 ES-335 Reissue is no exception.
