A first for us here at the shop from Zach Lefebvre, a brand new TreeHouse Blue Ember. It’s rare to find such unique instruments, where form certainly follows function so well. A whole lot of tone, and even more character. The back and sides’ hue harkens back to custom Stratocasters of the late 50s and early 60s, with an incredibly visually pleasing stain on top. The single coil tone combined with its acoustic resonance makes for an intriguing and fantastic musical experience. Maple for the back and sides, Adirondack Spruce on top.

Instead of traditional side dots, you’ll find elegant “Piano Key” side markers.
The quality of craftsmanship here is extraordinary, both in tone and aesthetics. Its voice carries remarkable depth and complexity, yet remains versatile and ready for anything you throw at it. With ideal dimensions, attitude, and aesthetics for fingerstyle playing, this guitar deserves a place in any serious collection.
Having made its way across the pond to us, this one won’t last long — as much as we’d love to keep it, you should probably snatch it up while you can.

Gernot Wagner’s craftsmanship is on full display here. While this isn’t one of his famous double tops, don’t let that deter you; this guitar is the real deal.
It includes three abalone side dots on the fifth, seventh, and twelfth positions, as well as green-dyed wood accents that add a unique aesthetic to the trim. Honestly, this guitar speaks for itself. It was recently refinished by our talented repair staff.

Forget the Master Model provenance and the 45-style appointments for a moment—even without that regalia, this guitar would still be something else entirely. 2015 15″ Archtop from Maegen Wells, sporting a Bartolini Johnny Smith humbucker, Ebony and Koa appointments throughout, and a custom bone inlay on the headstock by Will Hylton. Finished in Nitrocellulose Lacquer with a Dark Orange Cherry Burst stain. Aluminum Tubing side dots—this guitar is as much fun to look upon as it is to play, and it certainly is fun to play. The top is Sitka Spruce, the back is Big Leaf Maple, and the sides are Figured Koa. A very uncommon yet radically cool feature set on this instrument. The voice is complex, yet surprisingly applicable to just about any musical situation. Get this while you can—it surely won’t hang around for long.

This 2021 Wingert Model F features a cutaway and a K&K Pure Mini pickup. The back and sides are crafted from African Blackwood, paired with a Swiss Spruce top. It has 12 frets to the body, a slotted headstock, and a clear pickguard.
An arm bevel and a beveled cutaway horn provide extra layers of comfort. The tonewoods are stunning, and the K&K pickup does an excellent job of translating the instrument’s natural tone.
With a nut width of 1 13/16″, this guitar is a fingerstylist’s dream.

No detail is skimped, from the dramatically colorful Brazilian Rosewood body and European Spruce top to the contemporary fretboard inlays compliments of Magnus Ramel and half satin neck for effortless playability. Every aspect of this 2020 Å-OM works together in harmony. Please, take this one home to find out for yourself! And do it before we have to take it home for ourselves instead.

If Michael Greenfield has ever built a dud, we haven’t seen it. Quite the opposite, in fact. We haven’t seen a Greenfield that didn’t knock us out right out the gate. Take this 2018 G1 as a great example. Effortless playability, a voice with sweetness and riches and a slight midrange bump that makes for an engrossing, complete sound–the best tonewoods you’re like to find on a modern build–ergonomic features to maximize player comfort. This G1 does it all. The back and sides are Mike’s reserve grade, 80-year-old Cocobolo, here paired with an Adirondack Spruce top, Honduran Mahogany neck, and a Laskin-inspired arm bevel. Additional appointments include a heel “swoosh” carve, florentine cutaway, clear pickguard, and custom splatter-style Calton flight case.

Velvet to our ears. This 2015 Kraut 00 is stunning, a testament to modern lutherie and small bodied guitars with big bodied tone. Figured Birdseye Maple back and sides, Italian Spruce on top, and this one features Ray’s elevated fingerboard, which you’ll see actually goes through the top. In excellent condition, this Kraut has sweet, warm trebles that cut right through the mix, and pairs handsomely with a lively, balanced bass response. It’s an excellent fingerstyle instrument, hands down. Alessi tuners, Ebony bindings, and a Hoffee flight case round out the package. We love Ray’s geometric eye when it comes to his rosettes, and the headstock cap here is no exception, perfectly executed.
