This wonderfully collectible guitar is covered in autographs from the participants of the 2000 ASIA (Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans) conference in Nashville, TN, “Symposium 2000.” Written in gold ink pen are the signatures of 250 prominent people in the guitar community including luthiers, players, prominent executives and more. Some of the signatures are: Phil Keaggy, Dick Boak(Martin Guitars), Mike Longworth (Martin Guitars), Bozo Podunavac, Linda Manzer, Grit Laskin, Sergei DeJonge, Kevin Ryan, Dennis Scannell and many more. So you can see that this is much more than a great sounding Martin J-15, it is a very rare and collectible Martin Guitar that commemorates the 2000 ASIA Symposium and celebrates the wonderful guitar world we all know and love.

The Golden Era guitars from Martin are very well know by now to most of you. The reason is that the series is unique and really captures the essence of some of the older Martins that have written guitar history. This OM for instance has the bold Adirondack voice with great sparkle and clarity and headroom to spare. You simply cannot overdrive this guitar. The Brazilian Rosewood is dark chocolate and has lovely green hues in the sunlight. This one is like new and ready to be played.

Martin Carthy is one of the finest guitarists in the U.K. He’s inspired many great players such as Martin Simpson who was key to the starting of Dream Guitars. The Martin Carthy Signature model takes it’s inspiration from the 1950s 000-18 Martin loves so well. Martin faithfully recreated Carthy’s own guitar including the zero fret, smaller bridgeplate and 3 brass pins on the treble side of the bridge. The result is a very responsive guitar with great clarity and presence. This is #22 of just 84 made and these are now very hard to find.

In the 1930s Martin created the instruments that are now the models for superb tone and the ‘American’ guitar sound. We are simply thrilled to offer this 00-28 recently inspected & fined tuned by luthier Bill Tippin. This little beauty features tight grained Brazilian Rosewood and a silky Spruce top that puts out a very full and strong tone. The neck was recently set and done perfectly with new bar frets and great playability. There’s nothing you need to do but play this wonderful vintage Martin guitar. Here we have a like new D-41 from Martin Guitars. It is in perfect condition and has a fossil ivory nut and saddle which helps it really sing out. The 41 style includes a top border of abalone as well as Hexagon fret markers. Th body, neck and headstock are all bound as well. This guitar has been played just enough to be opening up and is ready for years of joyful music.

It’s one of the best sounding rosewood Dreads we’ve ever heard regardless of model. It’s extremely lively with great projection and the sound it throws across the room is complex and complete. Chimey highs and deep, rich bass notes abound. By the way we love Jim Croce and this guitar is a great tribute!
