Here we have a wonderful Kathy Wingert Model F Grand Auditorium crafted from Master Grade Indian Rosewood and Master Grade German Spruce. It’s wrapped in rich curly Koa bindings and features a venetian cutaway. Kathy’s F model is big, but easy to hold. This model has wonderful full bass response, but Kathy’s strong trebles have no trouble maintaining balance. Kathy’s voicing is alway rich and strong with great weight to the treble strings making for fat, sweet melody notes. While she’s known primarily for building fingerstyle guitars, this particular F is versatile enough for strumming and pick.

This is a custom Wingert F model crafted from African Blackwood and German Spruce. Kathy’s F is her larger Grand Auditorium body and it fills the room with a big sound that is warm, dark and mysterious thanks to the African Blackwood. The wonderfully figured German tops insures great clarity and power. The cutaway and armrest bevel make this a complete and wonderful Wingert guitar.

Kathy Wingert is an extraordinary builder who’s passion for the craft is clearly evident with every note that emanates from her instruments. She is regarded as one of the premiere builders today and for good reason…. her tone. Here’s she’s employed old growth Brazilian Rosewood and built an extremely balanced and powerful oversized 00. Fans of small bodied guitars that have lots of tone and power, along with 14 frets, will absolutely love this guitar.

Kathy’s Grand Concert Model E is her most popular design. Here she’s paired an amazing, and very rare set, of African Blackwood with Italian Spruce for a voice that is angelic. The Blackwood adds it’s haunting quality to the midrange and give this guitar a very unique voice. Koa Bindings and an Abalone top border make for sophisticated styling.

Each Wingert guitar is one of a kind and crafted to the highest level. Here we have a Model E with African Blackwood and Italian spruce, two of the very finest tone woods in use today. The body is bound in Koa, the top has a full border of abalone rich with green and blue hues, and the rosette is a custom design from Jimi Wingert. This wood combination and Kathy’s wonderful voicing magic give this guitar it’s, rich sound with clarity and power from the Italian spruce on top of the deep, dark beauty of the African Blackwood. There is also and L.R. Baggs iMix system and a Calton deluxe flight case, so you get it all.

This Randy Wood 0000 is wonderfully unique from the tone to the appointments; all speak to a rockin’ vintage vibe. The Koa back and sides are evenly colored and figured in two directions, and the Adirondack Spruce top is tight grained and aged to a warm, amber color. Tonally, this guitar has all the great “bark” of Mahogany, but with clarity and wholeness of sound thanks to twenty years of maturity and Randy’s decades of experience working as a luthier and repair artist working for some of the biggest names in Nashville, Tennessee.

Randy was ahead of his time in returning to the traditional roots of the craft by constructing this guitar entirely with hide glue. Playability is top notch for both the fret hand and the picking hand–this guitar is as light as a feather with a crisp projection!

This Paul Woolson SIG model Double Top guitar has us all smiling here at the shop. The voice from the Double top Adirondack(outer) and Lutz(inner) Spruce and African Mahogany body is bold and rich. The short 24.9″ scale makes for sweet and full treble strings and the side soundport insure you hear plenty of the round bass as well. Wider fingerstyle spacing makes it play as beautiful as it sounds and looks and the armrest bevel is super comfortable. Complete with a Jeff Hoffee Carbon Fiber Flight Case – our favorite. A very special guitar indeed.
