2008 Martin OM-21 Special Indian/Sitka
Built in 2008, this excellent Martin OM-21 Special has much of the appeal of a great vintage instrument. The finish is a vintage top toner that makes it look right at home next to the classics. Other features include a pyramid bridge, bound ebony fretboard and a Delmar tortoise pickguard.
This is an extremely fine fingerstyle instrument, but it is also capable of a whole lot more. It has lovely warm bass, and trebles that are round, yet very clear. In all, the OM-21 Special is one of the most impressive new Martins we’ve played!

1934 Martin 000-28H Brazilian/Adirondack Holy Grail!
In the 1930s Martin created the instruments that are now the models for superb tone and the ‘American’ guitar sound. We are simply thrilled to offer this pre-war 1934 000-28H masterfully converted by famed luthier T.J. Thompson and recently inspected & fined tuned by luthier Bill Tippin. A voice this complete and fulfilling can be attributed not only to father time but to the superb tight grained Brazilian Rosewood and silky Spruce top. 1995 Martin HD-28 V Indian/Sitka
Here’s a wonderful mature and open sounding Martin HD-28V Custom. Built in 1995 this one is fully awake and sings like a bird. Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce, complete with the Vintage appointments such as the ‘V’ shaped neck, forward shifted and scalloped bracing, through saddle and more. This one has had just one owner who took great care of it.

1968 Martin D-28 Brazilian/Sitka
Here’s an awesome 1968 Martin D-28 Brazilian Rosewood. The Spruce top has the wonderful patina of age that shows it’s maturity and the voice shows the same character. It’s open and lively with trebles that zing and bass that booms. Bluegrassers and singer-songwriters a like will love this vintage Martin D-28. The rare Brazilian Rosewood is a gorgeous set that is dark and rich with straight grain. A great D-28 from yesteryear.

1953 Martin 00-18 Mahogany/Spruce
This is one of the very special vintage 1953 Martin 00-18 guitars. This one was once owned by blues guitarist Paul Geremia and recently by songwriter Cheryl Wheeler. It has the real deal tone that everybody looks for in an old Martin. It’s very loud and clear. We had master luthier Bill Tippin do a neck set, refret, make a new nut and saddle and replace the tuners. So this nearly 60 year old Martin 00 plays like a new guitar, only it’s better because it sounds old!

2004 Martin OMC-28 Laurence Juber Indian/Adirondack
Here is a 2004 Martin OMC-28 Laurence Juber Signature Edition, #32 of 133 made. This one is Indian Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce for power and clarity. It’s easy to see why Laurence would put his name inside this model Martin. It is one that they are really doing well. That great Martin OM voice complete with a cutaway for full access and lovely tonewoods. This is a great fingerstyle Martin OMC.

1930 Martin 0-18K Figured Koa/Koa
Here is a super clean and rare 1930 Martin 0-18K, all Koa. This one is particularly unique in that the Koa is highly figured, something you don’t see on many 18 models. This little sweetheart has a voice that will melt you, it’s rich and lively and it’s super responsive. It’s a very lightweight 0-18K and you feel every note you play in your arms and chest. It has the characteristic dry, woody sound you would expect from a 1930 Martin, but this one has a bit of extra mojo as well. It’s very full and rich sounding for a small body guitar. We love it!
1944 Martin D-18 Mahogany/Adirondack (Red)
This amazing 1944 Martin D-18 comes to us from legendary musician David Grisman. David told us it had a sweet voice and great power, and he was right. We all love this guitar here at the shop. It is super lightweight and has a very woody voice with powerful trebles that are full and rich. The bass makes the entire lightweight body tremble and quake. It is setup beautifully, as you would expect since it was owned by David Grisman. This 1944 has all the specs of a 1943 Martin D-18, scalloped bracing included. Here’s you chance to have one of the last great Martins, and one with great provenance to boot.

1998 Martin D-45SS Stephen Stills Brazilian/Alpine
The Martin D45SS, Steven Stills Signature Dreadnought is widely considered one of the very best modern dreadnought guitars. The voice of the Brazilian Rosewood and Alpine body is at once powerful and beautiful. The D45-SS is a versatile Martin Guitar capable of sounding like a pre-war banjo killer or a modern big body fingerstyle guitar. This one has all the 45 Style Abalone trim plus Hexagon Fret Markers, Inlaid Pickguard and Steven Stills signature inlaid on the fingerboard. The label of this limited edition D-45ss is also signed by Steven Stills.

1987 Martin D-45 Indian Rosewood/Spruce
The Martin D-45 needs no introduction. Long hailed as the flagship of the Martin Brand, the D-45 Dreadnought is a powerhouse and beautiful one at that. This 1987 Martin D45 is adorned with the C.F. Martin Headstock Logo, Hexagon Fret Markers and of course the 45 Style Abalone trim. Over 30 years old, this one is mature and energetic with real power and tone. 2007 Martin D-28 Golden Era Brazilian/Adirondack
The Martin D-28GE Golden Era is known for being a modern Martin Dread with true vintage tone. That is due in no small part to the fine Brazilian Rosewood, Adirondack Spruce and forward shifted bracing, all of which give the Golden Era D-28 extra mojo. This one is very clean and well kept and the voice is big and bold. You’ll hear in the recording how open and mature this one is. A great Martin Dread.

1965 Martin D-18 Mahogany/Spruce
Here we have a gem of a 1965 Martin D-18 Mahogany Dread. This guitar is in rare condition, very clean and repair free. It is all original but for the tuners and a strap pin. Playability is excellent, frets are in great condition and there’s plenty of saddle left. This one also has a big voice, open and energetic. Just listen to the clips…
1966 Martin 12-35 Brazilian/Sitka
This wonderful Martin D12-35 is from 1966–the second year that Martin produced 12-strings. This instrument is all original with the exception of the heel cap. Thanks to the stunning Brazilian back and sides and Sitka Spruce top, the tone of this well-kept guitar is phenomenal. It’s becoming more difficult to find these in original condition, but this guitar is evidence of what Martin craftsmanship is all about.
