2008 Mustapick OM Multiscale, Brazilian Rosewood/Bearclaw Spruce
Matt Mustapick’s work with multiscale designs have yielded some incredible results, like this wonderchild OM from 2008. Gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood back and sides pair up Bearclaw Spruce plus Cocobolo appointments throughout. Koa bindings transition gracefully into a Ryan-style arm bevel on top, and match up with the rosette and fingerboard bindings. Tonally, this Mustapick has a great dynamic range and a wide color palette from solid, powerful trebles to a warm and intimately expressive bottom end. The multiscale range offers a spread from 26 1/4” at the bass to 25 1/2” at the trebles, perfect for Standard, DADGAD, C9, and beyond.

2008 Mustapick Baritone, All-Koa
Remember the expression, speak softly and carry a big stick? How about speak loudly and carry a big stick—cuz that’s what we’ve got here with this 2008 Mustapick Baritone. This fearsome force of nature boasts a 29 inch scale (takin’ it down to G town!), all-Koa construction, and an upper bout soundport to boot. It only weighs in at a little over five pounds; not bad for a Baritone that’s packing as much projection and power as this one. The neck and body balance out each other well, making this an easy-playing experience. If you’re ready to take the leap into Baritone territory, you can’t go wrong with this all-Koa Mustapick.

2008 Mustapick Aurora Macassar Ebony/Koa
Every now and then, we get a guitar in the shop which is so staggeringly beautiful, it reminds us of the first time we fell in love with music. This, a custom build from Matt Mustapick which became his standard Aurora model, is just such an instrument. With a huge, bold voice, articulate and finely honed, the Macassar Ebony and Koa body are tuned with depth and sonority in mind.Set up for lowered tunings like DADGAD, the Aurora is perfect for the fingerstylist looking to blow doors down with the force of their arrangements–with a monstrous projection and haunting sustain, the Aurora sounds more like a three-piece band than simply a six-string guitar. The Macassar Ebony provides a clarity to the low-end, and Mustapick’s renowned skills with Koa have yielded a top that evens out the tone and provides the trebles with great body and a clean, invigorating presence.Per the custom build specs, this guitar features gorgeous crimson Bloodwood bindings, rosette, and headstock veneer, with a slight arm rest bevel and a slight Manzer Wedge for ease of playing–and let’s not forget the upper bout soundport to project the bass straight to the player’s ear! Matt Mustapick is an up-and-coming luthier who we’ve known for some years. We’ve watched as he explores and hones his craft. We’ve always been impressed by his enthusiam for his art and his willingness to experiment. This Grand Concert is crafted from Sapelle and European Spruce and adorned with simple appointments that let the woods shine. It has a lovely fingerstyle voice that we know our customers will enjoy.

2007 Mustapick OM Cocobolo/European
Matt Mustapick is known for fresh ideas, he frequently builds fan and baritone guitars, unique pieces and always with lovely woods. This Arena OM has a lot of cool features, first of all it is a multiscale design combining short scale trebles (24.9″) and long scale basses (25.5). This has multiple benefits including even tension across strings, improved intonation and the ability to handle low tunings extremely well. This Mustapick OM also has a wedge body and an armrest bevel making it easy to hold. There’s a cutaway for full access as well and all of this on a body crafted of premium Cocobolo Rosewood and European Spruce.

Myka Custom Electric Mahogany/5A Quilted Maple
Here we have a striking Myka Custom Electric Guitar with a sensual 5A Quilted Maple top, solid Rosewood Neck and Lollar Imperials wired for series, single coil and parallel variations. New Myka Classic Jr. Mahogany/Claro Walnut
This David Myka Classic Jr. electric guitar has a dark side. Dark, rich Walnut and Ebony that is… The top is Claro Walnut with lovely figure and it’s enhanced by the custom made Ebony pickup rings, knobs, bindings and tailpiece. This is echoed again in the Walnut headplate bound in Ebony. The neck is solid Indian Rosewood with a smooth satin feel. A pair of Lollar Imperials are wired with a 5-way that offers Neck, Neck and Bridge in Parallel, then in Series, then Out of Phase and then the Bridge by itself. Separate 3-way mini toggles allow you to make either pickup Series, Single Coil or Parallel as well. A world of tones at your fingertips and a guitar everyone will envy.

New Myka Classic Electric White Limba/Flamed Maple
Here we have a David Myka Classic Electric solidbody that is simply stunning. Hand crafted from White Limba with a 3 dimensional Flamed Maple Top enriched by it’s deep Cherry Burst finish. The neck and body join seemlessly making it a joy to play every fret. A pair of Marc Culbertson Gibbons style hotter PAF pickups are the engine for this tone machine. David Myka wired them with a five-way switch and 3 push/pull pots for series and parrallel signal paths. In addition there is a mini 3-way to select the magnetic pickups, the Piezo or both. Another mini acts as a blower switch for the bridge pickup allowing you to quickly go to a lead setting at full volume. So from clean to crunch to scream to acoustic, this is one versatile tone machine from David Myka.

New Myka Classic Jr. Mahogany/Lacewood
Exotic Lacewood is the theme of this wonderful Classic Jr. from David Myka Guitars. The top, headplate and backplate are highly figured Lacewood beautifully accented by a Cocobolo Fingerboard and knobs. Flamed Maple bindings and handmade pickup covers tie it all together. Three Dimarzio P-90 pickups, a ToneZone Bridge, DLX-90 Neck in the Middle and Virtual P-90 Neck, are wired for serious versatility. A 5-Way switch allows for Neck/InnerCoils/Neck & Bridge/Outer Coils/Bridge. On top of that a push/pull Tone pot offers Series/Parallel. A mini 3-Way effects the Middle Pickup with Series/Single Coil/Parallel. But there’s more, another mini 3-Way allows manipulation of the Middle pickup, Adds Middle to 5-Way Output/Middle Only/Bypass Middle. So you can imagine the tonal variations from full-on P-90 power to single coils and combinations of the three pickups not usually possible. The guitar is completed with a TonePros Wraparound Tailpiece and Hipshot Locking tuners, just amazing…

2007 Myka Dragonfly Australian Lacewood/Claro Walnut
Once again David Myka creates a most amazing instrument… This time it is his Dragonfly model with all the fixins. For starters he takes Australian Lacewood and Claro Walnut and blends them perfectly with Amboyna Burl bridge, headplate and tuner veneers. Then he adds a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and Koa bindings from top to bottom. Now let’s talk about the tonal components: Bartolini PBF55 and PBF57 pickups married with a Pickup-The-World (PUW) piezo in the bridge. He completes this tonal monster with controls that include separate 1/4″ outputs for Mag or Piezo as well as a Piezo/Mag blend mini toggle, dedicated Piezo volume and Series/Parallel knobs for each of the Bartolinis. If you are seeking one stage guitar for acoustic and electric voices from clean to scream, this one can do it all.

Myka Dragonfly Deluxe Australian Lacewood/Aged Sitka
Wait till you see the lacewood back and sides on this baby — so deep, so rich… mesmerizing! This is another wonderful instrument from Myka, and it brings everything to the table — tone, playability, versatility… For a standard configuration (2 humbuckers, a toggle, and tone/volume for each), this guitar makes a lot of different sounds. The top is hand carved and tap tuned and the back is routed out as well, so this guitar really combined archtop qualities with thinline electric tones. Want to distinguish yourself from the crowd? 2017 Nashville Guitar Company D-42, Brazilian Rosewood/Adirondack Spruce
This one’s guaranteed to be the centerpiece of any collection. A 2017 NGC D-42 with Brazilian Rosewood and Spruce, plus snowflake position markers? Yes, please! Loud and brash as the Fourth of July, this Dreadnought from Marty Lanham’s Nashville Guitar Company is a sound cannon fit to knock you flat on your feet–so we recommend first playing this Dread while seated. Combining the classic punch and drive of Mahogany (and what gorgeous Quilted Mahogany is this!) with a German Spruce top for maximum silkiness, you won’t find a bad note across the length of the fretboard.
