2001 Petros Applecreek FS Indian/Adirondack
We’ve always love the FS(Fingerstyle) body shape from Bruce and Matt Petros as it offers an easy to hold 000 size body that embodies the full Petros sound. This one has an Adirondack Red Spruce top that adds wonderful headroom and power to the Indian Rosewood body. New Petros Tunnel 13 Claro Walnut/Redwood
This beautiful Tunnel #13 was custom built for one of our customers but here is the story from the Petros Website: Southern Pacific Railroad’s Siskiyou Summit Tunnel #13 was built in the 1880’s using virgin Redwood timbers harvested in Southwestern Oregon. These timbers witnessed the October 11, 1923 hold up of the SP Train 13 Gold Special, pulling 13 cars, by the DeAutremont brothers. Four men were killed in the robbery attempt.When these magnificent Redwood timbers were salvaged from this historic tunnel after a fire in 2004, Petros Guitars managed to acquire some of the nicer sections.When these diamonds in the rough were opened up, it was discovered to be exceptional, master-grade tone wood, air dried in this tunnel for more than 120 years. Paired with light weight, figured Claro Walnut from Oregon and a light weight Butternut neck from Wisconsin, this guitar is light as a feather (3 pounds, 14 ounces) with the resonance of a 120 year old guitar.After a century of silence, Petros Tunnel 13 Redwood™ guitars are giving voice to the remarkable Redwood of Tunnel 13.

This is the fifth of our wonderful Dream Series from Bruce & Matt Petros. This Grand Concert has a very old and straight grained set of Brazilian Rosewood the likes of which is very hard to come by today. It is clearly evident in the voice that is massive, responsive, warm and rich. The Italian Spruce top also insure the voice is full of that wonderful Petros shimmer and overtones. It’s extremely complete sounding and leaves the player’s ears totally satisfied. 2000 Petros Apple Creek FS Indian/Sitka
Bruce Petros’ FS design incorporates a pre-stressed arched top for added clarity and strong trebles. The top is also graduated to produce a rounder bass tone. This particular guitar has lovely appointments including a rope style perfling, bound headstock and tortoise style pickguard. The sound is awe inspiring, clear, shimmering and perfectly balanced.

From the Phoenix website: “The Deluxe Model was created as the result of requests by professional musicians who want a medium-string mandolin that would excel at all kinds of music but was styled with the clean, elegant appearance of the Neoclassical, and…would include a built-in pickup. To distinguish it from the Neoclassical: the Deluxe is colored with a lightly-sunburst, warm, violin dark-brown under the hybrid varnish; the Grover tuners are gold with custom black parts and buttons; and the fingerboard features the trademarked abalone vine created for the Unicorn Master Models of the 1970s and included on the “Pickin'” fingerboard poster.”

1971 Pimentel Concert #1 Brazilian/Cedar
An incredible 1971 Pimentel Concert #1 guitar featuring a gorgeous set of Brazilian Rosewood along with a Red Cedar top. The voice is warm, rich and sentimental. Signed on back of headstock “Pimintel ’71 New Mexico U.S.A.” The highly figured Brazilian headplate and bridge add an exotic touch to this already beautiful instrument.
